Houseboat stay- unforgettable delightful memories

It really wonderful experience to stay in House Boat.  Kashmiris make it more and more pleasant because of their unbeatable hospitality in the world. The kind of  wooden architecture, craft work make it attractive. It's delightful experience to stay in houseboats in all seasons.  Houseboats are not business only but it's a culture.  Who can own a houseboat? Only those heirs of old owners can own it.  No other person can go for having own houseboat just because he can spend more money .
Shikara ride is a cherishing  experience for lifetime. If you are on Honeymoon or with family or with friends you will enjoy the ride and houseboat stay.  Watching and capturing sunrise, Sunset from houseboat is really unique experience which has to be experienced from houseboat or shikara. While you’re on shikara ride you may meet with local merchants.  They bring craft articles,  spices,dry fruits, saffron, artificial jewelry, Pashmina shawls....Floating and shopping is blissful experience . One should have it atleast once-in-a-lifetime.  
 If you could spend more time you may visit Char chinars,  floating vegetables market or flowers market.  So we need to have more time in houseboat. You will enjoy watching snow clad mountains surrounding Dal lake or Nagin lake. 
   You will enjoy lip-smacking meals served on houseboat.  You will not discover the taste in Mumbai even if you are ready to pay more money here. The people are caring.  When you will leave houseboat, you will feel like you are seeing off your close relatives.  That's why people say when we will revisit here we will stay atleast for couple of days.  Their hospitality is uncomparable and they treat you by heart.
