Valley of flowers , treat for eyes & Gurudongmar Lake

Do you wish to see snow capped peaks, beautiful flowers, lush green meadows, gushing waterfalls and streams then join us for North Sikkim tour in April 2023 last week.  The stunning valley is paradise for nature lovers who love visual and experimental break from routine life.
Yumthang also has tree cover along with one of the highest number of flower species, including primulas, poppies, iris, poppies, geraniums and many other flora as per the seasonal changes. There are many species of Himalayan flowering plants which take over after the peak flowering season of Rhododendrons starts receding.
Apart from flowers, one can also find a special variety of apples called the Sikkim Crabapple, and strawberries growing along slopes. Yaks and cattle grazing in the pastures is a common sight in the peak season in the valley, completing the artistic picture of a laidback countryside. Compared with landscapes in Switzerland, Yumthang is a refreshing break for tourists from India as well as abroad to revel in the natural beauty of the country.
Yumthang faces the challenge of being damaged by irresponsible tourists due to an increasingly high influx of tourists every season. Though extremely well maintained, every traveller to Yumthang is advised to take extra care to not pollute the area with plastics or other types of trash.
The Yumthang Hot Spring is also a great place to visit. Even in a cold climate, the spring has naturally warm water. Just before entering the Yumthang Valley, there is a pathway that goes all the way to a hanging bridge over the Yumthang Chu (river). Prayer flag flutter in the wind over the bridge.
From Yumthang , one can go and visit  Zero Point.  The place is named so due to high altitude and it's a place where motorable road ends. The road is treacherous but once you reach you will be able to enjoy amazing views.
Gurudongmar Lake is probably the most astounding lake on the planet. The lake takes its name after the eminent guru Padmasambhava, who is believed to have traversed this region during his visit to Tibet.
