Apricot blossom in Ladakh, who's joining ?

     In a bid to promote tourism in the UT, Ladakh has introduced Ladakh Apricot Blossom festival which will be nothing less than a stunning visual delight for the travelers exploring the place. Similar to Japan's cherry blossom festival, Ladakh is planning to build the UT as an international tourist destination to attract tourists from across the globe. So, if you ever wanted to visit Japan to witness its popular cherry blossom festival, the apricot blossoms in Ladakh offers you a very similar experience without burning a hole in your pocket!
    Every year during the month of April, the valleys come alive with the vibrancy of these pink-centered white flowers and it is definitely a sight to behold! If Japan can have a cherry blossom festival, why can't we have an Apricot blossom festival in Ladakh? There is so much potential we need just to check.          The administrative authorities have  not  has left no stone unturned to give competition to Jammu and Kashmir, known as a paradise for tourists, by introducing a variety of interesting attractions for the tourists coming from across the places. From presenting local handicrafts exhibition, displaying cum selling of apricots products to organising cultural programme, the list is super thrilling and exciting.
   Wake up to fresh morning  air and enjoy  a cup of  hot tea with  gurgling  steam. The flower  buds begin to swell on Apricot trees when those trees  start to  awaken from  winter  dormancy and before  new leaves  grow. The full  bloom  occurs when five petals open fully.  The Apricot blossom can be  witnessed in  villages of Ladakh.
