Sela pass the story of love, betrayal and patriotism

   It's story that  took place in 1962 during Sino-indo war. It's story about affection and courage. There was a rifleman with name Mr.Jaswantsingh Rawat. He was serving in 4th batalian of 4 th Garhwal rifles in Northeast frontier agency during the war.
  Sela a Monday girl fell in love with Jaswant Singh against wish of her father. During the Sino - Indo war Jaswant Singh Rawat was fighting single handedly against Chinese army. Sela along with her sister Nura helped him by suppliing food and ammunition . Jaswant fought with Chinese single handedly and killed 300 of Chinese army.  When  Sela's father came to about Jaswant fighting alone he informed about him to Chinese army.  Chinese captured him and beheaded.  Sela the girl  committed suicide and Nura was also killed by Chinese army.  The story of love and courage ended with betrayal of Sela's father. 
      The nation awarded its true hero with Mah vir Chakra   and built  Jaswant Singh Rawat war memorial in his memory. As per locals the Sela pass is named after the monpa girl Sela and  Nuranang falls is named after Sela's sister Nura. 
  It's  amazing that history of such heroes/ patriots is not taught in schools.

Cherrapunjee the heaven not to be missed

     It's  general tendency of human that we don't care for what we have .We always feel others are happy than us. Similarly we have treasure of wonders we don’t feel  important.            We have beautiful Goa closer to us.  There are plenty of places in Kerala and Karnataka.  We could visit such places for a week.  We miss most of part.
